well best deal i could get was family pack hd, with sky talk and unlimted bb for £40 after phone calll today as my last deal ran out this month so saving £16 a month worth it for an 15 min call, could cancelled and waited but rather keep it on than loose out on some stuff i do watch

I cancelled the lot on Tuesday as no good cheap deals were offered, even when I offered to pay a year line rental up front like last year.
Had a missed call at home yesterday from them but they wouldn't talk to the missus and didn't call back when she told them I'd be in.

Should be an interesting conversation should they actually phone back. Already started the migration of phone+BB to ee so should be able to see I'm serious. Not sure if I can back-track though if they offer me a deal I can't refuse.

Seen quite a few people jumping ship recently.
Im in the same boat too, took movie & sport off last month after running an Android box for a couple of weeks. Will be cancelling the rest of the package next week and seeing if we can get by with free sat, now tv & the android box.
Obviously if sky come back with a good deal I'll probably be tempted back

Bit off topic but virmin wanted to put my broadband up by £1,50 a month to make it £23. I called them up the point blank refused and said cancel it. Low and behold they scrapped the price increase and dropped £2 off the bill and now im paying £18. I will not be held to ransom by these cunts lol

As for sky i get the full package hd and everythjng for £25 a month. I even scrapped cs lol

Cancelled mine 3 weeks ago as was paying circa £80, no offers. Put in a different name and used a friend who was working there their 50% off friends and family plus £50 tesco card.

Yesterday got a letter asking me to come back 60% off and £100 credited to bill, ffs. This was about 2 weeks after cancellation. Stupid really because i told them I was moving when I cancelled so if you were you would already have a new installation date from virgin, BT or whoever.

So hold out for the 60% letter guys and £100 bill credit

Got a call from them this afternoon asking if I could answer a 'few market research questions to improve their service'. 3rd question asked if they offered a good deal would I consider not cancelling?
Obviously I said yes and I got offered the Variety Pack 1/2 price for 12m (£14). I said no and explained I had already begun the BB migration and that it wasn't much of a deal to me but if I had been offered it on Tuesday I probably would have taken it.
The guy apologised and said that was the best deal he could offer.

All very amicable but not the deal I was looking for, especially given ancojo's offer.

Think his offer was a pretty lucky one. After a fault with sky they gave us free TV for 3 months. A year is fucking unbelievable.
