The only problem with using a smart phone like that above is unless your flying at night (which is actually good fun) you can't see the phone screen . it absolutely useless unless you have a box around it.

If you want to upgrade to the hero 3+ use the 20 quid of 200 spend on 0² priority moments at PC world.

Oh and they do have a history of flying off and never coming back. So buy a 20 quid gsm GPS so you can find it again should that happen.

Been fitting the Gimbal today but used cable ties instead of the stupid clips that stop the Gimbals rotation, also installed the interference board inside instead of outside.

Tomorrow (because of time) I'll install the range extender then the video feed to my 7" monitor fitted to the control.

    Fun times.

i've been flying one of these for about a year now with the gopro mounted on the front.
no real gizmos on it just self leveling but learning to fly it gave me a real buzz and two broken lightbulbs in my living room
just go to hobby king and grab an orange receiver and a transmission and your sorted. i use a small park flyer receiver and its more then i have ever needed.
have had a few crashes but the motors take a good range of size on the blades.

Mines up and running took an age to install everything and a bit peeved opening a brand new quad to install upgrades.

Not flown it as yet took an age to get video working.
