Default Re: Android TV Boxes - Moved on?

Not sure if its pertinent to this thread, but could do with some advice myself regarding streaming.
I have just started using XBMC and have a Chrome cast dongle, only to find the 2 aren't compatible.
So, if switching to Plex, do you need to download all the content you want to watch, or can it be streamed from the internet as XBMC does? I am basically wanting to watch films without the hassle of downloading etc
    Any advice appreciated

Google vpnicity and they have a guide on there to set it up on Xbmc. Then just install the nbc sports app from Xbmc addons

Had the most success with p2pstreams this afternoon. You need to setup the parser link. If anybody needs a guide I found a good link. If anybody has been using the hd feeds on wiziwig the p2pstreams are of the same quality.Didn't realise this box had the facility to use my tv remote to navigate as well. Bit of a bonus for wife friendly

I'd really try the method I said, all the games are in full hd on my large screen to no buffering either.

NBC doesn't give you the full size screen though. NBC Sports Extra letterboxes the screen. Too much black.

Although.. For the price and ease of use, I have it as my backup.

Are you using it through Plex, XBMC or just via a browser?

Also, what are you using as your first choice out of interest?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm new to the Plex party but I've been slowly setting it up recently and I'm keen to use it for as much as possible.

I've got an IPTV setup for my first choice. I'm using it through the browser.

    Nah. Through Plex?

I was just going to the webpage.

I don't use it very often.
