M8 android box help .

Hi guys been asked to sort out one of these boxes , friend bought it off someone on amazon and basically it wasn't jailbroken as advertised and there's no sound , now I've flashed it with a firmware but the remote isn't picked up no more ? any ideas also think the android version is wrong but could be wrong as its now on 4.4.2

Not a bad box, looks a bit like an MX2 Clone.

Hunt on there for the latest - or at least a working - version and reflash.
If memory serves, it's done my putting files onto SD Card and holding the reset button inside the AV socket?
