hi guys

i tried deownloading a torrent file, and i keep getting this torntv link coming up instead. every time.

i've googled how to remove, and general consesus was go to control panel and remove the torntv file...
well ther eisnt one, neither is there one in the program filers folder either..

i should add im on win7. and google chrome.

can anyone recommend a way to get rid of this thing???

Have you looked at chromes add-on's and extensions? I don't use chrome. I use Firefox myself but I assume they must have something along those lines. Clear your browser cache as well.

There's a search engine/browser add-on called Delta that snuck onto my PC a while ago. It had hidden it's self away in the the add-on's of firefox if I recall correctly. Up until I managed to remove it my webpages would always open up as Delta no matter what I did.

What about running a malwarebytes scan?

Not sure torntv coming up when opening the file??

if so check what the file association for the .torrent file is this should tell you the exe that opens when a torrent file is opened?
