    Default 240v charger to 110v?

    Guys,

I have a makita charger that's 240v for charging my lithium ion batteries, on the bottom it's got a label and says something like 240v~110v.

Could I cut the plug off and stick a 110v site plug on it and would I work? Albeit a bit slower then normal?

This is a link to it -

    Cheers

Probably wouldn't be any slower, since they go through switching power supply to get the charging voltage.

    Thanks to coin-op
