Is there any value in getting a yearly MRI? Thought I'd ask the knowledgeable people on here.
Is it worth the cost? Will it detect any health issues?

Get some private healthcare from a decent Private Hospital pref with recommendation.. The scan is only as good as the interpretation of the results and depends also on the skill of the operators, personally I wouldn't touch the mob on that link who look like they might double selling Double Glazing.
In general I'd say no unless you have a health condition that requires monitoring, or think something may be wrong. They are good for identifying internal physical defect issues but then there is biochemistry to consider as well. The advice I was given is a full blood work up and decent physical exam is all that's necessary but then I'm not a doctor...
I'd also follow blaggards advice and go for a well known provider in use buy other medical professionals.

If you have the spare money and find the right firm why not. A lot of cancers dont show any signs until it's to late .so if you could spot a tumor before it grows in size who wouldn't if it affordable

I know just having my head done properly wasn't cheap and took a while for them to check if you're doing a whole body scan I doubt they'll be paying much attention - also are they going to get specialists for each body part?

Second thoughts on this a blood test every year would probably be better.
I know at my old work above a certain grade you had to take a medical every 18 months. They do blood work, VO2 max etc etc. pilots have to have them too (not to that extent I don't think) but blood is going to be quicker and easier and nhs will probably do it for you for free you'll get liver, function kidneys, white blood cell count etc which will cover most of the major issues.
or pay for the medical screening it's like a half day stool samples etc
I get bloodwork done at least once a year. They look at kidney and liver function etc.
I agree with Black sheep, have had 6 mri's over the past 12 years, it really is down to the quality of the interpretation of the scan. I have had one where specialists in 2 hospitals & 1 privately all gave differing analyses.
Bloods/stool/urine tests tend to be more useful yearly.
