PLEX nowtv help

Hi All

I have bought a nowtv box which is happy installed on my plasma, i have installed plex and now am unsure how i manage to watch movies/tv shows that others have loaded onboard its servers! Does anyone know of any good utube vids on what to do next? I have installed PLEX media server but am unsure which plex client i should ne downloading for the nowtv box....confused..can anyone pls guide me in the correct direction?

Plex Media Server installed on PC. Add Media via the Web interface.
Connect it to a User account on http://www.Plex.tv in Settings. Add port 32400... forward if necessary in Router (for 3G sharing).

Install RarFlix to NowTV once you have it in Developer mode.

Log in to same Plex username as Plex Media Server on NowTV/RarFlix.

Media from Plex Media Server appears. Play/Transcode media.

Bobs your uncle, Fannies your aunt.

DjV's info above will work for your own PMS.

For anything else, you will need an invite from your friend's server.

This is from memory so might not be bang on.

Get them to invite your Plex username to their server.

On your NowTV box, start Plex/Rarflix- you need to be logged in with your Plex username - and you should be told you have an invite and offer you a pin number. You'll be pointed to plex.tv/pin. Leave the NowTV on the pin screen.
On a PC\Tablet\Phone, goto your Plex online account and accept the invite/enter the pin.
The NowTV screen will clear within a few seconds on entering the pin.
The 'Shared Content' channel on your NowTV Plex screen will appear.

You might need to tweak streaming settings depending on your internet connection. Auto transcoding\streaming should be fine.

Hi followed the above guide but I've hit a problem, google chrome can't connect to the now tv box, tried to ping the box and it says "destination host unreachable" any ideas?

NowTV is not connected to the Network or the IP Address you're accessing is incorrect.

Tried pinging it from CMD prompt? Check which IP Address has been assigned to the NowTV.

did you type www. in front of the IP address?
Should just be 4 numbers separated by dots

How far down the guide did yo go and did the NowTV box reboot?

Sorted now. not sure how but unpluged now tv box and router and now its all sorted thanks for the help.

servers are around £3 a month i think to subscibe to, im assuming we cant talk about that on here, but if you were to search c/s a few forums will pop up and there are sellers on those forums
