    Default Channels coming and going.

    Got a VU+ Uno.
Receive my channels using the typical methods.
Last few days I have had channels disappear only to reappear hours later.
Anyone else experiencing this. I would have thought my supplier is having difficulties but it is only happening to select channels.
Also the main channel might go off but the +1 is still fine so I assume not my supplier.

    Cheers

    Lost signal or 'scrambled' messages?

Try pressing the info button (2x OK on Vu+? can't remember) to see ecm times. might be a temporary overload on the server

    Bad weather/mis-alignment of dish?

    Thanks to chizh

Will check that. Just been getting black screen didnt dig any further.

I would have assumed server overload would affect all channels or am I talking shite?

    Thanks

    Yeah. I'd agree.
Thinking on, even if you were getting high ecm time I'd assume at some point - within a few minutes not hours - you'd get a picture.

Alignment / LNB issue first as that's an easy check, then suspect server / maybe a reshare issue that your supplier does not have direct control over?

    Thanks to chizh

If it was an overload surely $crambled would come up within a few seconds, as said above dish alignment sounds more likely.

Checked signal levels and no probs. Excellent strength & quality e.t.c.
Maybe weather at the time or box on it's way out. Or just needed turning off and on ;-)

    Thanks for tips guys
