    Default What external Hard Drive?

    Hi all

I been reading up on what external HD to get for me Xbox One as the internal is getting a little full

    Good article here http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/di...-upgrade-guide

Where they test 4 different ones from a standard myBook type to an SSD but their conclusion is just buy anything you want.

Anyone bought external HD for thiers yet if so what you gone for, is it worth getting an 1tb and filling it up in a year or so would I be better off going for a 2/4TB one now?

I used a Inferno 1TB for my sons which works perfectly well and I used a 1TB Transcend as long as they are USB3, plug it in and off you go, if I hadn't have had those lying around I would have used a 2TB for the future.

Had a look but seems US only at the moment, being able to stick a decent size drive in would be nice and could be needed in future who knows, I will see if it makes it to the UK and then I will get one

Yeah I was actually looking at the M3 version http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-Slim...rds=samsung+m3

As I believe its got a Hitachi drive in it and they seem to have the lowest failure rate https://www.backblaze.com/blog/what-...-should-i-buy/

If you use Flubit it's worth using the Amazon link above for the 2tb Samsung M3 to request a price. I did and got it offered to me for £65.45.
If you don't use Flubit I have invites available.

Love the hub bb posted but I wonder how well the 3 ports will work being powered from just the one. Nearly bought one but the £18 postage put me off.
