    Seen these on the internet. Anyone know anything about them? Anyone got one?

    We went to see a mortgage advisor the other week and we're looking at around 3x which is limiting our options - I didn't realise they went this high any more - definitely time for some investigation!

    Depends on your salary. If you earn £100k a year, perhaps not. For a first time buyer say perhaps on £18-£22k, at most is £130k

    That's still a hefty wedge out of that 18-22k and unless you are sure you will climb the ladder over time and end up on a decent wage it'd be a hefty chunk for a long time.
