Child of Light XB1

Decided to download this months Xbox One Live freebie Child of Light and have to say its a very good game! It reminds me so much of Final Fantasy VII regarding how the levelling up works, the turn based timed fight system and how you use the Oculi, similar to how materia was used in FFVII.

I dont want to give to much away so will leave it at that but if you liked FFVII give it a go, nah give it a go anyway.

I tried it for 5 mins but didn't seem the game for me as not sure what I was doing wi that orb like dude but will give it another chance ;-)

Igniculus (Ig) aids you in fights, collects orbs and does other little tasks all controlled by you, I found it strange at first but after 5 or 10 minutes of using the other analogue stick to control Ig, it became natural! I let my son control Ig with a second controller, quite good if you want to play 2 player with one of the kids. I found the Oculi process of combining good as you can get some really good add ons if you do it right.
