I did exactly the same back in the 80's. I loved my Airfix and Revell models but I bought a few unfinished/parts missing models in jumble sales back in the day. They were mostly aircraft and I recreated crash scenes from them. Yours look great, however a Moggie would never rot on the top of the wings or top of the bonnet. The VeeDub has all the right rot in all the right places!

I like these a lot. Never seen anyone do anything like this before. My daughters partner is just completing a restoration of a yellow T2 camper. This has given me an idea. I'm tempted to get some images of rusty edged holes printed on vinyl and stick them on the camper one day when he leaves it parked outside. (">

Great job you have done! These look amazing.. Whis I had time to add this to my 'To Do' list.. I need time to compile that!

Are you going to start a collection or start selling them? I am sure some model enthusiasts out there would snap them up.

As for the rust joke on the camper, reminds me of years ago when JokeShopByPost was around and you could buy the bullet holes for the windscreen etc...
Best I can find on ebay for rust are these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Weathering-D...item27fbf17d83

    Thanks to Squizza

i have only made the 2, but more to come, i have sold the moggy £11 on fleebay & the Bus is all so on fleebay at the moment.
its finding the right type of toy to do it, without spending a lot on the toy.
the two i done only cost me around £1.50 each
