GTAV Installing

Can anyone explain why my XBOne is currently installing GTAV when I don't own it?

Turned my Xbox on and it was there plain as day. Clicked it and it gave the option to install it (don't have the DVD) and its just going for it... Without asking to download first either...!!! I've not authorised the �53 for it on Xbox Store and says I have to pay to install it still.

Is your Xbox One set as anybody else's home Xbox? I account share with a friend so his Xbox is set as my home console and mine is set as his home console. Anything I buy downloads to his console and anything he buys downloads to mine.

How do I do that then? I have a few friends with XB1s and would love to share the cost of the games. Does it allow you to play the games at the same time online?

You can only share with one friend so choose wisely!

Did you buy the xbone second hand deja? If so it sounds like the original owner still has it set to their home xbox (as mentioned above). Whatever they buy will show up to dload for you. If you bought it brand new, then sorry I got nothing

Nope. Brand new out of Tesco. However, my old Xbox One still has my gamer tag at the ex's house. Wondering if that's why. Perhaps someone's put the GTAV DVD in it?

I think it would have been bought digitally is installing like that.

Exactly as ant suggests....your ex has the home xbox and yours is linked to it. They bought it digital and it becomes available on yours. They need to click the 'this is my home xbox' in the settings with their own gamer tag, or you will keep receiving their digital purchases. I think it's mostly used by siblings, parent/child, or close friends.

Thing is, they are probably still only using my Gamer tag as no-one else in the house had Live. They may have now though, but then they would have purchased in a different account no?

My bank account hasn't been charged.

Nothing to do with your bank account deja. They have set up a new profile with their own payment options, but because it is set as your accounts home xbox, you still get access. When they change it to their own accounts home, you will loose access.

I would just hope they keep buying games for the xbox and you get them by proxy cant be bad, alerting them will cut off what could be a nice little try before you buy system ;-)

I borrowed ryse of a friend, i installed it and loaded it but never played a game of it, i uninstalled it and gave him the disc back, few weeks later i could install it from the store. But i couldnt play it it kept saying if i have the disc insert it or sign in with the gamertag that bought it.
