saw this over the weekend, great film - story is very easy to follow!
would recommend to anyone who likes the old films and even to those who havent seen them as this one does not continue any story from the original 3
You know he grew up as a little shitspark from the old shitflint and then he turned into a shitbonfire and driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance he turned into a raging shitfirestorm. If I get to be married to Barb I'll have total control of Sunnyvale and then I can unleash the shitnami tidal wave that will engulf Ricky and extinguish his shitflames forever. And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.

I agree with Northernbloke, went to the cinema and failed to see the hype. Fantastic visually but totally lacking in any plot, I know it was supposed to just be pure action but expected a bit more substance. Decent but the high expectations killed it for me.

Yup, no plot. Even Mad Max 3 with Tina Turner was better than this.

Never been 1 to compare movies against older versions seems pointless imho, I really enjoyed it and as said its pretty much action from start to end enjoyed it for what it was
