Xbox One will play over 100 Xbox 360 games, preview starts today

It's a nice feature to have that will not get used, if you play games and are in awe of how it looks then the last thing you will want in your nice shiny Xbone is an old generation game or am I missing something?

I am with you, no interest at all in playing last gen games on my current gen console - never used it on the PS3 / 360 and wont on xbone

If this works I see this as good news. Wonder why they kept a lid on this as surely it will have effected sales of the ONE.

I believe that they don't release the backwards compatibility straight away as it will have a detrimental effect on sales of launch/1st gen titles.
