iOS 8.4 and iMessage woes

Hey,

So last night I did the stupid thing of installing 8.4 on my 4s
Now I find that I get the 'Connect to iTunes to set up Notifications' on apps and my iMessage is broken. Will not connect at all!

It was fine last night and iMessage working fine from my other devices.

I have had a look around and tried all of the methods of fixing it (log out of iTunes on the iPhone, Log out of Find My iPhone and iCloud then restart). Tried multiple times and no joy.

Anyone else took the plunge and having a similar issue?

Ok, after the official whinge above it is now working again! Followed it to the letter but this time rather than shutdown I did the Home/Power button reset.

• Double-click Home button and close ALL applications by sweeping finger up on each.
• Go to Settings > iCloud
  
  • Switch off Find my iPhone
    
  
  
• Go to Settings > iTunes & App Store
  
  • Touch Apple ID: xxxxxxxxxxx and select Sign Out
  
  
• Hold down Power button and turn iPhone off
  
  • Alternatively, hold the Power button and Home button for several seconds to do a hard reset
  
  
• Press Power button to turn iPhone back on
• Go to Settings > iTunes & App Store
  
  • Enter Apple ID credentials and sign back in
  
  
• Go to Settings > iCloud
  
  • Switch on Find my iPhone

If anyone gets the problem then try this. It resolved my iMessage problem.

Is your GPS working OK? I've read a few early reports of GPS issues after 8.4 update, just debating whether to upgrade my 6.

Yeah, I was using co-pilot fine on Saturday and it tells my Pebble, Swarm etc.. the correct location.
