Default Intel vs Amd. ( yea i know )

So i believe i just witnessed the sad truth that intel is indeed better than amd. I saw that intels best quad core i7 outperformed in every category amd's top if the line 8 core fx processor. Please someone correct me. I don't want this to be true lol. Im talking in terms of gaming of course.

Intel always been better in the last few years ever since the I7 came out. Just embrace it. Go take a few tramadol and possibly a spliff and all will be fine. Perhaps get a blowy of ya partner. Then a small thing like this wont be an issue to you. Ohhh and a intro would be nice in the correct section. while on it why not read the welcome message you got when you registered.

I wasn't sure where to put this article. Spent ten minutes looking for the right place, then another 5 trying to figure out how to post. It is gaming related so i believe it is in the right spot

    Forget performance for a minute.

As someone who has repaired probably hundreds of PC's, Laptops e.t.c let me tell you that AMD overheat like a motherfucker usually just after the warranty runs out.
They are designed to runs a lot hotter than Intel (to achieve the speeds they do ) , but as dust collects, components become less effective in my experience AMD fall short.

Peeps have come to me with poorly PC's for repair, if it's AMD it is usually a right off due to over heating .

    Just my opinion

Oh and where gaming is concerned AMD CPU with AMD GPU = good luck

I used to have an AMD cpu and graphics card. I was regularly getting your graphics driver has stopped and recovered messages. Never got to the bottom of it. I exhausted everything possible.

I switched to Intel and nvidia and have had no problems since.

Obviously not every single one. Through repairs you get to see the bigger picture of where the majority of fixes lie.

It's like a mechanic will get to see weak spots and models to avoid. Not all Astra's break down for example but my mechanic tells me to steer clear. (Astra was an example before I open a can of worms)

But it is 100% fact that AMD run a lot hotter than Intel. You need serious cooling.

    Thanks to piggzy
