Am I being dumb, I though it was a case of ensuring the printer was on and on the network but neither iPad or iPhone can find this with AirPrint. Anything else I should be looking at in the router etc?

Sorry I haven't got a clue, but if you look at the logs mentioned in the page below, you may get some indication of what's going wrong

Also have you tried cabling everything up to see if that gets things working? If that gets things working, run wireshark and try to find the difference when cabled and on wifi.

Everything is actually cabled, it's just from mobile devices (iPad, iPhone) where I get mailed something and easier to read or need to print and mail. Should have checked log - will have a poke about. Cheers
i use a brother & epson printer at work, i had to download apps for both manufacture to get my phone to print.

Think it might be firmware issue but can't be arsed faffing now - will update later and check apps too thx.
Does it work if you download the Lexmark app from the App Store?
Does your wifi network have any sort of client isolation setup? Try turning this off and see if you can print
Do you have any mac's on your wired network? try to add the printer with AirPrint on those. If it works then there is some sort of isolation on the wifi network. To confirm, try connecting the mac to the wifi network and see if you can see any other devices in the Shared section of finder (note that these might be cached from when on wired)
Thanks
Scottio
