    Default Bluetooth SNES style pad

My retro collection is taking up too much space in drawers/cupboards and is never getting, nor is likely to get used in the near future.
I am almost at the point of offloading it but finding the decision tough!

I want to believe that emulation is as good as with the right controllers... I have not ruled out getting rid of the hardware only but keeping the games to play in a super retro 3 or Retron 5.

Then you have the Pi's with emulators or even the Fire TV sticks. With the latter you need a bluetooth controller ideally and the one of my choosing would be a SNES one, should one exist.
I can see some expensive ones kicking about but are they any good? This is the one I have spotted: http://www.willgoo.com/sfc30-gamepad...ler-p-636.html

Proper Amazon Fire controllers are great BUT I don't think any emus can see them yet, check that those SNES pads can be used with a Fire before you buy anything

It is the actual feel of the Pad I want.

I have ordered one from Ali Express, If it does not work with the Fire then I will go the Raspberry Pi route.

Hopefully it won't take too long to arrive. Annoyingly if it does turn up and it is all good then I will have to wait for a second!

But it looks good, in my eyes the SNES pad is the best pad in the world and I am happy using that for every emu.

    *Edit*

For someone who just wants to mess about you can buy controllers for about £5 : http://www.newfrog.com/p/bluetooth-w...tterEUR_remote

When I dug out my old controllers I was disappointed with the dpad on the old SNES controller, seemed to have far too much travel compared to modern dpads on the 3DS and so on. Id probably make do with a high quality modern controller like the PS3/4 one, or 360 one. Its not authentic, but its damn good and much more versatile.

If anyone goes the Fire TV route (not stick) for emu's, you can use 360 controllers along with a wireless USB dongle which cost about £7.
PS3 pads should just work including on the Stick.

SNES Pad turned up yesterday, super quick!
Build quality is excellent side by side with an original pad. Ordered a second!

It went a couple of months ago.

Took a big hit on eBay, should have gone VIP and sold on here really... Lesson learned!

I took a punt on one of these - it's from Xiaomi who make a lot of stuff in China.

Turned up today and it seems nice quality - you can't go wrong for £13!
