Default View .DWF Files in IE11 x64

I've sussed out to view .DWFs in IE8 or 9 in 7x64, they work fine once Design Review 2013 has been installed.

However I don't seem to see a plugin and IE tries to open them but just displays a small black square.

I can't redo the DWF into DWFx because I'm trying to use an old software package that has literally thousands of various drawings.

Can't you just get a copy of autocad [emoji15] and open them?

Get a free trial version [emoji108]🏻

The reason I want them to open in IE11 is because I have a technical package with loads of wiring diagrams. If I can use the package, I can click various links then pull up drawings. Manually looking up each drawing number will make it a pita, and then I won't be able to click the links from one drawing to another.

Otherwise I could just open them in Design Review.

you tried changing your browser profile in IE11

Hit F12 then choose the emulation Tab

change your user agent String to whatever version of IE you want

once you have done this you can close out the Developer console

there is also compatibility mode which usually works and loads plugins

within IE alt menu then tools, compatibility view settings. Add the site into there
