Advice Help EE total loss of signal in my town

We had 4 now down to 2 contracts with orange, I have been with them since I was around 18 and I wouldn't recommend them to my enemy now!
EE have taken our local mast down and replaced it around 9-10 miles away.

after calling to say we can't get a signal anymore they said to use wifi calling!
what good is that outside walking the dog or when the kids are out?

they won't terminate the contracts and want to charge the remaining line rental if we leave.
What the hell can I do?

Really need a signal for my kids sake so I want to change to three or tesco but can't afford to pay more contracts or fees.

I can't get anywhere with EE so I have requested a callback from a manager.
as far as they are concerned I have a signal at home with wifi calling, and outside is just a terrain issue which is out of their control.

Over 6 hours on the phone (split times) and I have had a guts full of it.
the EE stores just tell me to call customer services so what's the point in the fucking shops?

A friend use to be in Management before the merge he said.

You need to talk to someone in the "executive office".

If you don't get anywhere on your call back mention that your next step is to talk to people in the executive office, that might move things along if not I will try and get a few direct line numbers for you to call and make it their problem to solve.

    Thanks to JonEp

They let me out 6 months into a 18/24 month contract because of this, you just have to get the right people. Also the femtocells weren't available then. If they've decommissioned a tower you should be able to get out.

    Thanks to blacksheep

Well really fucking angry now callback never came so I called back and they said they needed to do a diagnostic on the phone, but I couldn't be on the phone while this happened.

i asked them to call my landline but they fed me some shit saying they can't make outgoing calls.
i explained the phones fine when out in Exeter etc, but they wouldn't listen.

i was informed another call back within 30mins that's a fucking hour and 40 mins ago.

I've found (slight social engineering and again need the right people) you call up and apologise in advance for your bad language/temper and explain you understand its not them (the person on the phone) that's done this but it's got your blood up - gives you slight licence to express more volatilely your feelings without directly offending the individual and again at the end apologise and at its not aimed at them. Often they'll sympathise, speak to someone senior and explain how frustrated/upset you are (without the language) but this coming from internally bolsters your case. Personally I think it has benefits, may be wrong.

You'll find certain departments have quite a lot of authority on certain matters and working them or people speaking to them in the right way can have drastically different results depending on how you play it - as I say I got let off somewhere between 12-18 months of contract by saying the guy in the shop said I'd get full 3G internally and full 4g externally but had to walk half a mile to get a signal.

as ilscuro says, they're all shite atm as they're cutting costs (or something)
