this new 500mm lens is a swine to focu,just the smallest movement will screw the shot up. a bit more practice i think

Yeah the Moon isn't as easy to photograph as many would think. It's constantly on the move as is the Earth including it's rotation and at long focal lengths, tripod, mirror lockup and remote shutter release are imperative.
You did well though mate. Not a bad shot at all.
