iPad2 wont boot. Not even showing Logo

Ok,
This has been fine, then I did notice it would occasionally turn of if in the middle of browsing or similar, but never gaming.

Got home yesterday and turned on, nothing. Assumed it must need charging. Started that, but still nothing. no logo etc. Read to leave it for an hour. Since left over night. If I turn on, the screen does sort of light up, but no logo. I have tried the two switch hard boot and still nothing. I can find a lot of info on stuck on apple logo and not booting up properly, but no reference to not even getting the Apple Logo.

Can anyone help?

Which model is it and when was it bought? Has it been dropped? On face value sounds like logic board or battery as you had it power off when in use, could be a physical problem or loose connection. Potentially the dock assembly. Have you been using the iPad charger or an iPhone charger?

Are you sure the charger hasn't blown?

iPad 2 32gb model full size. It just came alive. Very strange.

Any dieas shoudl ti not respond again fro 1/2 days?

I was using the iPAd charger via wall socket. Made connection noise when plugged in. Never say charging bar either.

My iPod does this from time to time.

takes a full on hard reset to wake up. Sometimes I think battery has died, but it's fucked itself.

It crashed/turned of in middle of a game today. Never done that before. I guess what will be will be. Q
