    Default Windows 10 - GODMODE

Found info on how to make a link to GodMode in windows 10.

It creates a link to loads of settings that were previously hidden and shows all settings in one quick link.

I found the info through an app on my mobile so can't list source but here goes.

    1. Create new folder on your desktop.
    2. Give folder the following name "GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}" (minus the quotes)

It will automatically change the icon and link through to the GodMode.

    Works, have tried it.

Edit: Google found me a link : http://www.cnet.com/how-to/activate-godmode-in-windows-10/

Just so you don't all think I am leading you into some trap of formatting your hard drives ;-)

This is the same for windows 8.1, and if tested i am sure it would work on windows 7 too, i know i have had it before on windows 7 and i suspect its the same GUID.

    Thanks to MartinC

So called god mode has been in most versions of windows. There are in fact a load of strings you can name folders to do different things. They are not really hidden settings, more like quick access.

I used to use the links but now the search function is usually easier to find a setting or do it properly with reg or policy editor.

If I remember correctly, this came out when Vista was released.

Also you don't need to call it God Mode, you can change the name to anything you like.
