Default New bike for the girl

The child's new bike as she grew out of her other one. Carbon forks, Tiagra group and Mavic Aksium wheels. Weighs a lot less than her last one and gets her up to 700c from 650c. She is definitely faster but that could also be down to chainring size and a longer crank as well. She loves it.

Just saw this Bert. Lovely bike. I bet she flies on that. Mine has the Aksium wheels and they're great.

The difference between my 29er MTB and the Road bike I got is phenomenal. 50+ mile rides are a quick trip out nowadays Just did Manchester to Leeds Challenge cancer ride. 65 miles. >4000ft climbing. A good day out.

Training towards the first century and posting speeds of up to 45mph maximum and averaging 18mph over distance with climbs. Loving it

Aye she got first for her age at the NW Triathlon champs and sixth in the T2 category. It's a lovely machine and she loves the colour.

Would be a faster bike if it had pedals.
