IPTV Stalker MAC Address Fix

The MAC Address method will not work as soon as they block that mac address which was used when you set up the favourites!

If you look into the favourites.xml after you have created it, you will see the mac address is coded into each of the favourited channels - therefore it will not work once that mac address is blocked.

I've found a number of different working mac addresses myself, which I'm not posting all over the internet (for obvious reasons!). If you find any working addresses keep them to yourself, rather than sharing them (or we could look at sharing them with a private group in the VIP section?)

Alternatively, if you like, post away, share your working mac address & watch it be blocked in a heartbeat

Here's a tip:
When trying a guess a mac address, you have to change the last 6 digits, it can be a mixture of letters and numbers, think of something simple, something very easy to remember - simple is the key. This was my technique, and I found 6 within 5-10 minutes.

REMEMBER do not share your working mac addresses if you wish to keep them alive for the time being!

Change xx with any valid number from 0-9 , A - F , COMBINATION to generate a valid mac address. only 0001A79, 001A78 IS necessary to start with any mac address.

Remember, IPTV Stalker is now a paid service, this is the reason why this solution is required. You may see lot's of videos offering you the fix with a MAC Address, you may also see those videos asking for donations or pay-to-click links or ads where they generate income. They're not giving you this information out of the goodness of their heart - they know it's bogus and will be blocked - they're fleecing cash - plain and simple.

Thanks, no joy so far with the mac gen. I have mainly been trying full numbers, if anybody has any joy with letters as well let us know. Only went that way as all my previous ones have had no letters in them except at the beginning.

I think there is a little more to this, I'm doing some investigating. I have 2 Amazon boxes, both exactly the same but one is running an old version of iptvstalker.
The one running the old version plays my saved favourites from when stalker was free. The one running the newer version does not.
I've taken the Mac from my shortcut and it's inactive, get the authorisation failed message. I'm using the exact same favourites.xml on both boxes.
It seems the older version skips a check and runs my saved favourites.
The version that works for me is 1.2.0

If I find anything more out I'll post the details....

Make sure you have send serial number checked. As far as I'm aware you don't need to send a custom serial.

I noticed while looking for one myself I was getting two types of error:
ITV Authorisation failed - Not working.
Authorisation failed - Didn't work until I clicked send serial.

This was using v1.2.0 of IPTV stalker.

Been doing some more messing about and as elephant soup said above v1.0.18 is the one to use. It seems to rely solely on mac authorisation. The mac that was working for me earlier suddenly stopped. I reverted back to 1.0.18 and it's working fine on all my boxes.
I have the zip if anyone needs it, just turn off auto updates for add-ons and all is good.
Only downside is 1.0.18 can't be integrated into ivue tv guide.

I'd already posted this in The latest Chrisbwizard thread hash 44 but here it is again. I think it's a waste of time personaly, I dont think it's as easy as just finding a mac address because the mac address is also linked to a paid subscription and another thing is that how is the later versions of ipstalker actually working when the mac address input was removed, from I think was v9. something? anyways here is a link for 1.0.18 http://upgrades.montrealandroidtv.co...ker-1.0.18.zip

Not at all, just posted a link that contained a few versions of stalker. Mainly posted because that's the one I'm using on 3 different boxes using the same mac; with no problems so far.
