Question What kit are you using?

    What mods, tanks, batteries etc.

What have you used that you thought was shit?

started e-cigs about 2 weeks ago and currently using a istick with variable voltage and a Kangertech genitank mega, so far its been great.
Looking at getting some decent jucies from Dr johns which was posted on here but he's been away and seems quiet busy so have no idea on costs and what to ask as apparently there are some variables on his juices.
tried using e-cigs when they first came out and didnt get on with them but this time round seems ok not had any cravings for vigs while using it and im using 1mg nicotine juices atm.

    Thanks to consoles

I have a Kanger Mini Protank 2 on an iStick and it works well. Sick of filling the bastard and wanted a spare so just ordered a Kangertech Subox Mini kit to try. Looks mint and reviews are good and will hold 4.5 ml of juice.

Currently sporting an Atlantis 2 tank on a 50w iStick. Like Bert though, getting sick of filling up, the experience is fantastic but boy does it burn through juice.

I have a nautilis mini on a vv battery for above ohm vaping whilst in work. At home I use a kangertech subox, which I am learning about the rba deck (been using the 0.5 stock coils).

Trip hammer cream tea is my all day vape just now, but I am looking to mix my own as 15quid for 30ml is what my local shop charges.

I've dabbled in making my own, but to be honest it's a lot of trial and error unless you just make menthol.

This is greatfor an all day smoke, and a good price point for shop bought. £20 for 50ml. Discovered by accident when running low on juice and nipping into the Vapeorium in Nottingham.

    Thanks to Ganty

I will give it a try cheers. Love how they say 'stuff' in the flavour profile. There are lots of good juices for sale on Facebook groups. I was just looking for something to try over the winter

Liquid I am on at the moment is the Commodore Pearry by Charlie Noble which is nice and I Love Donuts by Mad Hatter and both are nice but I really want a good Parma Violet one that is strong in flavour.

Dr John's do a Parma violet. I'm really impressed with his stuff, but unfortunately a member here wasn't as satisfied, but worth a punt IMO.

    Thanks to Ganty

2 main ingredients in e-liquid, propelyene glycol and vegetable glycerin. One is for flavour (PG) one is for vapour production (VG). I favour a 50/50 split.

Yeah as ganty said. Higher pg will give you better throat hit, where as higher vg will give more vapour.

Commodore Pearry is 18PG 82VG but still has a good flavour. Done nothing else for three days now. Ones I have bought where you can choose I have gone 50/50 and works for me.

I tested the milkman which was high vg (more than 90). It tasted great, with huge clouds (in sub tank). I'm happy with 50/50 or 60/40 (high vg).

Pg gives more throat hit whereas vg is sweeter and creates more vapour.
As my vape production has increased I've found I prefer less nicotine and pg in the juice, going from 70% pg and 16mg of nic with my old setups (single coil around 1.8 ohms) but now I'm producing more vape with temp control and dual coils I'm down to 6mg or so nic and 30% pg at the most.

Currently trying out some of the darkstar vapour cloud max range of liquids as they've got a deal on atm as I stumbled upon their site looking for the diy base liquids really.

I've just gone temp control with the Koopor mini battery mod so I've been trying the darkstar liquids with different rtas and drippers setup with kanthal, ni200 and titanium coils to get a sense of what's what with all this temp control malarky.
Initial thoughts are that the ni200 temp control is the best I've tried so far but the ni200 is harder to work with than kanthal as its soft and springy, and the low resistance can be a pita getting a high enough initial resistance dual coils working.
That said, tonight I'm vaping from a pair of velocity rdas with dual titanium coils I've built differently to taste the difference between .4 and .3 titanium wires on the Koopor mini set to about 450F
If you want big airflow and lung hits then the velocity is great. It's a bit airy for me tho tbh as im not really a lung hitting cloud chaser and making cloudz will sap your battery power pretty quick, I think I'm more of a mouth to lung hitter and flavour chaser lol

3 Thanks given to Hippie on hill
