Default Wearable tech, API & usefulnss

    Hi ladies and gents,

I'm just after your thoughts on wearable tech, in particular has anyone got an apple watch or ms band or other, and what are your thoughts on apps currently available or what you'd like to see available? With that the API's are now more available I'm playing with it so any feedback from fellow developers most welcome. I haven't invested in a device myself yet, and this is just a discussion suggestion that might spark some interest and may even tempt me to invest.

    Cheers,
    Tony.

Had a Sony smartwatch 2 for about 18mths and now got an LG Urbane.

Once you have a smartwatch you can't do without it.

I have a Pebble (1st Gen) and about to get a Pebble Time Round once released. I love it for it's simplicity. It does not try to be too clever, does what you want and does it well.
I forgot to put mine on today and I am lost! I am Apple all the way, but I much prefer this to the Apple Watch.

As for the 'Future'. If you are into Raspberry Pi jiggery pokery then look at this: http://thepihut.com/collections/new-...eid=ad212a2f51

Imagine the Halloween/Christmas gear you could make... Just make sure the fabric is not flammable!

I use a Sony Smartwatch 2. Feel lost without it, now. I use it exclusively for notifications - calls, texts, emails etc. Also the device vibrates when the Bluetooth connection is broken, so if I leave the house/desk/car without the phone, I get an alert which makes it priceless.
