Default Windows 10 logon password hell!

So I used msconfig to boot the laptop into safe mode to remove some spyware. But now it's saying the logon password is incorrect. Every restart is going to the log on screen for safe mode.

How can I get it back to normal?

Or is there a way to delete all the account passwords?

I have no idea why the normal log on password would be different on safe mode.

The password should be the same, is the username correct? MSDaRT 10 should work using the Locksmith tool but I don't have this version yet and am unsure where you would get it from. It may be on torrents...

If not see if Pogostick supports Win 10?

NT offline password thingy on ultimate boot cd will do the trick still as I believe win 10 security is pretty much the same as win8.1 which is win 7 ;-)

That is now called Pogostick if you want to just download the small utility rather than a whole boot CD but UBCD and Hirens Boot CD are very useful if you do a lot of tinkering

This happened to me in the same circumstances. It was asking for my live.co.uk password instead of the pin I had set up. Luckily I remembered my original password so was ok after a few bungled attempts. I have since seen that you can change the login method on the login screen just under the password box. When clicked it presents the option of pin or password.

I hate these connected accounts, I always select a local account when I set them up.
