    Advice Rasp pi2 Amiga Emulator

Thinking back to the glory days of original gameplay games of the 1980-90's, I'm think of seeing if I can successfully run an Amiga emulator on my pi2.

Googling comes up with RetroPie so I will start here before I go to my parents attic to see if I have an old joystick tucked away. Many hours would I play perfecting my footballing skills on Sensible soccer or zooming around the race track on 'Supercars'. This is where I think I'll rediscover my love of gaming that has long been stamped out with the endless recycling of games year on year!

Has anyone had experience an Amiga emulator who can provide any tips? Or anyone want to suggest games which may have escaped my memory that I hopefully can rediscover? Emulator newbie that I am!

Moonstone, I thought I was the only one who remembered that, Moonstone, a hard days knight! I remember The Adventures of Robin Hood being one I played to death, with it crashing at a certain point and shitting yourself when the sheriffs guards came running at you! StreetRod was another I liked. Good times!

Lemmings and cannon fodder were great. I was only reminiscing about cannon fodder the other day with a guy in work.
Also Xenon 2 and speedball 2

My all time favourite was SWIV though. A top down shooter with great graphics and tremendous sound

Fellow is probably the best emulator for your needs. UAE is bulkier and more complex.

I loved my Amiga days and must have had 10's of disk boxes with 1000's of games, cracked and purchased. The games were mainly awesome and for a time, pissed on anything the PC could do.

But, as is often the way with nostalgia, sometimes these things are best left in the past. Probably about every 2 years or so, I get a hankering to play or at least watch on Youtube some old Amiga 'classic'. However, I soon realise after about 10-15 minutes, that after all these years, the games are now utter shite and simply cannot compare to the likes of a modern day GTA V or MGS:V for example.

    Sad, but true.

Viz was good for some joystick waggling.
Dynamite Dux (I think that's the spelling) was awesome fun.

Bloody hell, forgot all about the Viz game, inflating Buster Gonad's bollocks! Quality.

Also remember a game called Fire Force, was a side scrolling Action Army game, amazing times.
