Ok, I came on here with my interest in technology,and a wish to learn more if I could. I introduced myself as asked to, but it seems that I am not welcome and I don't fit into the clique. Politeness and respect cost nothing, so as soon as I find out how to I will delete my profile.

Most of the banter in your thread was directed at us existing older members not you, many other sections of the forum are to do with tech and PC's but sorry you want to leave, I am sure a moderator will assist you with that soon.

Nothing was pointed at you here. This forum is like many of the others where banter is seen as ok. there was no bad karma going on in this thread. Even MUMSnet has its issues. If you want to leave send me a pm and ill remove you from DF, but give it a try for a lil longer you will soon see how much fun and the sections here are endless

Well b*gg*r me, I have been in technology since the days of crystal sets. Great Grand Daddy to 3 lovely kids. Now 77 and still technology hunting and as stated above I can consider myself a coffin dodger with a chuckle.

Please don't be offended NannaSue - as already stated its just banter. I know these guys of old and they mean nothing by it, seriously.

I speak from personal experience that the members of DF will help other members out by devoting their time and in some cases certain hardware for free. I myself am a long-standing member on this and other forums and DF beats them hands down.
