openbox s9 problem

got an old openbox s9 was going to hook it up for the teenager in her room but when i turned it on it just stuck in a loop power comes on and then within secodns goes off and then comes back on again and goes on and on, tried resetting via computer but where it doesnt stay on for longer than a second it doesnt do anything, sure it must be a prob with the power supply has anyone had an issue with these before or knows if it easy to repair etc

Think I will just chuck it then, it was very cheap and looked on ebay and you can get a newer one single tuner for less than 40 delivered
