    Default Strange Windows Audio issue.

Got a strange audio issue going on.

When PC speakers are turned on but nothing playing audio wise. Every couple of minutes I get what I can only describe as a noise sounding like someone tapping on a microphone to test it very fast (but very quiet) last about 3 seconds. Then gone and repeated 2 or 3 minutes later. I know this is in the Windows 10 section but I had this before on windows 7 & 8 but it went away on it's own to now return.

Driving me batty. If I crank the volume up to full it is enough to prove it is coming from the PC speakers. Suppose it could be interference.

Has anyone else come across this or am I going insane ?!?!?

    Thanks

my galaxy s3 used to do this to my pc when it was close.

Why does "fat chance" and "slim chance" mean
    the same thing?

    Thanks to wakadoo

Maybe an interference thing then. Have tried moving my mobile about so maybe another device. Gotta start moving things around then.

Knowing my luck my monitor and speakers don't like each other ffs

it could be your monitor causing it and I for one would time the intervals to see if it shows a pattern.

my monitor refreshes itself every few mins to stop screenburn, something like this may cause it.
