Can anyone clear this up please...

My pal has an android box or something (marvin add on) and he reckons he watched this film in 1080p. I'm on the NZB's and can only see a SD screener
Watched Creed in SD screener was ok, but SD ain't HD

Can anyone answer that one please

it is high quality but def not HD

As above there is one version available and that is not in 1080p it is just about watchable on on my 50" tv but HD it certainly is not

seriously doubt it, checked all releases and only SD available, its part of the screener leaks that happen this time of year, nothing HD

My Kodi remote Yatse has a button about half way up on the left, next to the 'i' button. I think that button is the equivalent of pressing 'C' on a keyboard. Also on a keyboard you can press 'Z'. All of these give you stats. I've picked a couple of the top links from various sources and all I'm seeing is 720 x 260, 640 x 232 and 576 x 208.

If I watch something I've ripped and I know that's a blu-ray disc, the stats tell me whether it's 1280 x 720, 1920 x 916, 1920 x 900, etc. So to me, the stats are reliable.

Now, whilst your mate may have Kodi configured to output its display at full screen 1920 x 1080, this is what Kodi will do, but it will resize, stretch or zoom the source file it is playing within the Kodi display based on his settings. Plus you may also have some adjustment done by the host in terms of how they deliver the stream. He might have some sort of an info button on his Tv remote which will display what his Tv believes the source is running at, i.e. 1920 x 1080 or just 1080P, but the file that is playing will be resized, stretched, zoomed, etc to match that resolution.

In brief, he's wrong and we're all right

Personally I can't wait to see this film. I was excited about as soon as I saw the cast. I haven't watched any trailers [if they're out] and I won't be watching this, all Taratino's films are worthy of a cinema visit. And I'm not a massive fan of modern day cinemas, particularly the cost - unless it's one of the fancy cinemas with table service

great film watched it couple days ago on the plex server is sub too but defo not HD, makes me laugh i regularly here people saying they just watched a movie in HD on kodi boxes and its usually just the channel name or been renamed lol

yep until someone sneeks a bluray copy out of the dupping factory or a privaliged person with a bluray copy, shares it then cinema releases are not HD, the best I can see of this film is a dvd screener

the smaller the screen you watch this on the more HD it will look like

ive taken a look at this and quality on my 48" 4k set is OMG my eyes are bleeding why on earth do ppl watch such kack quality films

all I can find on android box is 480p versions

Fully Agree, Only standard Screener available, as most of us have been in this scene for years, going back to the vhs & vcd days, kodi may well upscale but you cant polish a turd, its still only 720x260
