Tough call. Man city have built infa structure around getting hi, with the back team being with him at barca. Chelsea probably not expecting needing a new manager but will probably give him a blank cheque to sign anyone he wants and his wife prefers London and the dark horse of man u, richest club in the world. Going to be one of these 3 surley and if I had to go with 1 id say city.

I was listening the The Guardian footy podcast the other day and their German football reporter seemed to think he favoured United. He reckons Guardiola was more interested in the history and stature of the club rather than how much money they could throw at him.

Charlton hates Mourinho, so there"d be a big board room fight about that.

he willl go city, which is ashame i would prefer him bring success back to united and put city in their place, if he goes city with the endless cash that is promised then the title will be boring thing to watch, it will be like how paris are dominating now, where you see the team in second place is closer to the relegation zone than they are to the team directly above them.

I certainly wouldn't complain if he came to Chelsea. But can see him braving the Norf unfortunately.

well thats the prem done and dusted for a couple of years..............i personally hope that united make a change as of now so the new guy can assess the team prior to preseason and get rid of what he doesnt want and identify key areas, would not be upset to see mark hughes step in there, i think he understands what united want and he was a success at city until the owners screwed him over.

Yeah Prem league is over as http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35467287

"Long-term Manchester United target Neymar, 23, could join rivals City after Guardiola's arrival. The club are willing to meet the player's £105m buyout clause."

"City also want Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi, 28, to reunite with Guardiola and are putting together a £120m deal to tempt the Barcelona forward."

Think Messi worth more if Bale worth 90m but not bad opening salvo :-S

I would have thought the amount of money involved, this deal would have been done at least 3 years ago and Pellgrini would have known how long he was there for despite winning trophies.

Well , ill make my long awaited return to the scrap that is the footy forum...... Been away a while, you know divorce moved house that kinda shit
Anyway im not going to lie, id have loved Pep at United, but i did have a worry that if he came , could he build a team? As we really need one, at City he has a decent nucleus of a team but again there's s till a fair bit to do so we shall see how he goes on there. Also on another note im not going to lie that I wouldn't have wanted Maureen at united if you'd asked me when Moyes left....simply as he tends to hang around 3 or 4 years and then piss off somewhere, however looking at the situation in its current form, I really couldn't think of anyone better at United, sure hes got a cocky as fuck attitude and sure not everyone like the guy, but hes a proven winner at all levels, fuck me to win it with Porto! See Pep do that and ill kiss his arse! Maureen has been all over Europe and I think he knows that the only challenge worth doing is here in the Premier League. After the way Chelski treated him I think he'll be up for rubbing their faces in it. United have gone from having the most Charasmatic man in football in charge to David fuckin Moyes and Louis Van I havnt got a personality Flat head Gaal ......United need a big ego to manage a big club, they need someone whos a bit cocky, who can take the pressure away from the team and pile it on himself. I think The league is not a forgone conclusion, City may have a shit load of cash, and they may now have the most wanted Manager in the world, but the FACT remains, its still Man City and they're a small tiome cluib with small time fans. Maureen is gonna relish the battle with Pep, He said himself that in the Spanish league there were only 4 games a year, Barca vs Real and Real vs Barca and then again in the cup. Everything else you can win 5 or 6 nil easy. Bit harsh on athletico in my opinion but he said it.

With the Mourinho appointment looking likely for Man Utd now I cannot personally wait for next season.

I think that Man U are just fucking with Mourinho saying yeah yeah heres a contract blah blah blah

But about 1 week before he is meant to start be it in a month or in the Summer, Man U will hire Eva Caneirio and say you still coming Jose??? ;-)

Im fairly confident hte Mourinho deal is done and dusted, you keep hearing people like redknapp saying the people who are in the know already know and then theres the italian woman who leaked it accidently, then theres common sense, and finally i think you can see it in LVG too in his interviews, he has that aura of a man whos in his final stage in a job.
