Liking the look and specs of the Ulefone Future as my Eelephone P8000 looks like it's dying. Future or Power????

    What about this thing.

$199 2k Screen, 4Gb Ram, 4G etc... seems dirt dirt cheap.

They are so cheap just grab the latest decent priced one, then give it away next year and get the latest again.

I bought an iPhone 6s 128gb for £700 because I am a Muppet. If I could drag myself away from Apple then I would definitely buy a new Android each year for £150..
However I will have this one now for about 3-4 years..

I've a windows phone for work and had an iphone for private use (only an iphone 4).
Have to say this ulefone power wipes it's cock on both of them. Brilliant bit of kit for so many reasons on so many levels

@Andyinlondon: The upgrade to Marshmallow, - did you get a notification, or did you do it manually? - If manual. how?

    Cheers

Got the rom from ulefone website but needrom has it with some tips and used the elephone ROM loader to put it on. The ulefone ROM loader should also work but I had the other one installed already. Backup everything first and do a clean full upgrade.

    Thanks to andyinlondon

Am now toying with getting another phone. Few of the links above look fucking good including this Ulefone Power.

I just water damaged my Elephone P6000 so am justifying to myself an upgrade :-)
Although it does work it randomly keeps turning itself off and on (not that often) Took it apart and there is corrosion around the power button area so oh well my fault. Can't really blame build quality.

Have been looking for a few days but fuck me the choice is crazy.
Like the look of the one Squizza posted but then again the battery might annoy me too.

    Hmmmmmmm.

Update after about a month or so.

Phone itself (software and hardware wise) is great, it does everything I need and as fast as I need it.

    However, the battery is dogshit.
Since new the phone has decided to power itself off when there's been about 30% power left and it's now getting worse.
It's been getting really hot too recently (probably due also to the weather, fuckin scorchin today!) but today, before I left home at 11am it had almost 100% charge .. when I was almost home at 5:30 it decided to power off with about 49% charge left. It's driving me nuts.

I bought the phone to replace my One Plus One which was hardly lasting a day .. this is becoming much worse!

I should also say it was reading 49% charge left before it powered down and then when I got home and plugged it in it was reading virtually empty!

I bought one of these as a spare and so far so good. The only issue I can see is the fingerprint scanner which is pretty flaky and not a patch on that on my iPhone 6. I've registered several digits and on average it take about 5 attempts to unlock with a finger.

My fingerprint scanner works effortlessly. No issues with battery at all to date. Haven't upgraded to marshmallow yet though.

    An update ..

The battery in mine is absolute feckin tosh!

Took it off charge around 9am this morning, the phone told me it had 55% left about 5 minutes ago (I've been using Whatsapp and texting) and has now promptly shut down showing 0% now I've just plugged the charger in.
I've then left it a few minutes and powered it back on, it's telling me there's 44% .. feckin joke!
Probably a one off but an expensive one off I think as the battery is not replaceable.
I bought it off eBay and it was delivered from China so unlikely I'll get any joy from there.

I've just opened a Return Request.
Not sure how this is going to go as it will probably cost me a fortune to post back to China .. but worth getting something back out of it.

It doesn't put me off buying another, as I said the handset features are more than good enough for my usage and the price is fantastic
