    Default External Hardrive

I'm after a couple of 1tb hard drives for my sons xbox one's, any recommendations.

Other than having to be USB 3 anything else i should look out for.

    cheers

Samsung M3 (or D3 for powered 3.5") are the external drives of choice, did a lot of googling when I was at this juncture.

I think pretty much anything will be fine tbh. Although i had issues with a 1TB Hitachi Touro on my PC but it seemed to work fine on xbox one.

I got one of these recently when it was on sale.

The 1tb version is only £40

maybe so, hdd's can be funny buggers, some will work for years with no issues, others conk out after a month, luck of the draw

had the Dell HDD in my xbox one for about a year now, its never moaned and shows the correct amount of space

Yeah I looked into it and people were saying the Sammys had one of the lowest failure rates.
