Wanting Someone To Come Into Business With Me - Hopefully Make ££££'s

I have got a really good business idea that is just about ready to go, I am looking for ONE individual who will be willing to come into business with me. The business will entail selling a software product which is a really great product that I use all of the time. Once the buyer has bought into this business I will reveal everything and explain what I need you to do (which will be just advertising the product only). You will have only little work to do but the returns potential is very good.

I'm looking at only £200 which will pay for everything we need to get started, I will be doing most of the work including website design, software design and much more. As a partner you will be required to do a bit of advertising for the software and that's it.

As with anything, I cant guarantee ANY profit, I'm not going to lie to you - like anything in life we take a chance and that's it. if this sounds good for you then have a go, if not, at least thanks for reading

Couple of things that make me hesitant, and may be worth expanding on...

To most, this sounds risky, "buy in and I'll tell you the info". Even if it does only entail advertising, can you comment on how you'd treat sales and profit split? For example, if my friend owned a really popular advertising company, and it was to catapult, then I'd want to know upfront how the split would work.

For most, this would be an instant detractor.

I know that you've made a shit load of really fucking good software, and give lots of it away over the years, so £200 to "buy in" on something I'd then have to sell online only seems a little risky. Especially over something you've never done before, but have confidence it SHOULD do well.

From an advertisement perspective, unless it's physically driven by someone then paid adverts may not be the way to solve this for you.

I'd love to know a little more about this though, as I've been looking to get involved in something for a few months now.

ill answer your questions as best as i can
1: profits: ALL profits will be split 50/50, when someone comes in with me they are an equal partner. the only reason i say (come in with me and ill give you the info) is that somoene could if they had the details do it first and rip me off.
2: confidence, what i will be doing is selling a product which has been sold before by others and it made them around £12k but i have never sold it myself. when i mention that it should sell well i am going off the previous sales that its done.
i have made a lot of software, some really good and also others that bombed but this is different and if handled properly should sell well

I only offer 1 person the chance to come in and when they do I would never bring anyone else in, it would not be right

I will have other projects very soon so there will be chance for others to join that but first I have to concentrate on this.

the sites up, the advertising is kicking off later tonight and we hope to start doing well in the community where the product is aimed at, its a very good and useful product so should do very well. ive had to do a lot of testing, double checking, at the same time ive been diagnosed with a pulmonary oedema on my right lung and ive been back in hospital with pneumonia again so it put things back by a week but we now on track and by next week we hope to have plenty of sales coming in
