Chrome & Firefox constant issues - any fix

Windows 10 and Chrome do not work at least for me. Chrome fails time and time again, I then follow the online info clearing cache, comaptability mode, then a few days in, it stops displaying all web pages. Is there a once and for all fix?

Firefox,
This starts well and then slows right down and crashes. I stopped using this, but my wife likes these (Chrome and Firefox), I use Opera without issue. I am laothed to use IE/Edge.

Anyone able to shed light on the Chrome first and Firefox second with relation to windows 10? No issues on my lovely Vista machine with Chrome, but same issues with firefox. That machine (vista) gets retired this weekend.

What security software are you using? Some programs have been known to delete the config file from Firefox as a false positive, I saw one yesterday. Chrome and Firefox ok on my Win 10 machines running Eset and MBAM.

AVGfree looking to move across to somethign else, I forget the name, avast or kaspersky.

Always used avg in the past with no issues. Firefox even slowed down on my vista machine to the point i took ti off ages ago.

I use Kaspersky and it gives lots of issues with firefox/win10 on mine - especially using paypal/ebay/amazon.

Got no issues with any browser on Windows 10. Used win 10 since before launch with chrome and not one problem.

Well, its no good for me. I have uninstalled since posting cleared all trace, got it going, worked this morning, since comeing back, nothing, all access apparently no Internet! Thats following again the compatibility mode and cache that in the past has rectified.
