Just watch 10gb version. Didn't like the follow of the movie. It's like rewriting EPS 4 (Original EPS 1) in a different light.

Contravertial! People get very sensitive over this movie!! Although I don't totally disagree, but it had to set up the new world with enough links to the old one.

I agree almost completely with the above 2 comments. The story is far too much ep iv for me.
A droid contains important information and lands on a planet that looks like a desert
There's a new Emperor (Snoke) and a new Vader
There's a new Death Star, albeit much much bigger but still has a trench we can fly our x-wings in.

I could go on but despite all of this I still really enjoyed the movie ! 7/10 as a standalone piece of work, 2/10 for originality.

Agreed, had a tough job to do though, keep the old school happy and bring on the new generation. Enjoyed it more watching it at home than going in with expectations like i did at the cinema.

Kds also loved it so win win i think for jj on this one.

Only down side now, is they have to finish off this story line with two more movies (every things in 3 with star wars). Only then they can start with new story, and plz no more planet killers. Note I did enjoy the movie, but as a sci-fi fan, I am looking for more in a good story line, I know it's hard to make any unique now days.
