Happy with my 50" HD for now but I'd certainly give that a punt if I was looking for something new.

Just so people know, this will only do HDR from USB file playback. It will not do Netflix/Amazon HDR through the built-in smart apps.

A lot of TV for the money though, these really have dropped in price over the last year or so.

I'm looking to get one of these also as the spec and size for that money is certainly a good deal ! I'm a little confused and have searched for answers but unable to find ........ http://ao.com/product/h55m3300-hisen...Forum&WT.z_AT= list it as having a Satellite LNB is this true? I know from reading it certainly has Freeview HD built in and I also read that there is a firmware update on the way to update to Freeview Play !

I order the 49 inch one the other day for 379 it comes on Friday couldn't fit a 55 in otherwise I would of got that one. They seem to get good reviews. From what I see they are ment to be android which should be good for kodi etc. Had to get the m3000 though not sure what the difference is. Will let you know how I find it over the weekend. May even upgrade to sky q but think it is just footy in ultra hd so no point at the minute

Received mines today Les and it does have box a freeview coax in plus a threaded satellite cable connection.

That's interesting, I'm guessing that it's just an input from a Satellite Recievers output if you get what I mean !

Would you be so kind as to measure the depth of yours for me when you've got a spare moment? I currently have a 50" Panasonic that is wall mounted and a motorised drop down screen that dops down just in front of the TV for a Projector. The measurements on various sites all seem different, one says 8.4cm and that would be perfect but others are much larger and if correct it would drop straight on top of the TV.

Hi Les,

The thickest part of the tv is at the bottom and when I measured this morning it looked like 8.5cm but could easily be 8.4cm. I'd say this is accurate.

Sounds good Les. I've been posting in the other thread and so far have been really impressed with the TV. I'm going to have to invest some time getting my Logitech Harmony working though.

I picked mines up on Amazon Prime for £529, came next day with Yodel.

Unfortunately I don't have Amazon Prime, so ordered online from http://www.cramptonandmoore.co.uk/hi...-tv-black.html for £499.00 free delivery. I used there live chat app to check if it was in stock first and check delivery timescales, was advised it usually takes 48 Hours and is trackable, when going through the payment process though it stated 3-5 working Days : ( I'm so looking forward to recieving this as it's going to compliment my Yamaha 4k AV Reciever I've just purchased (Note To Myself: STOP SPENDING) and if what I've read about an update coming which will enable Freeview Play, well that'll be me sorted for a few Years.

It just gets better and better, strange though because I only found one site that even showed a Satellite LNB Connection, not even Hisense own website mentions any of this ! I'm going to have to change my LNB now and run another feed : )

I've read on another forum that this TV should be getting a big update this month that provides HDR via HDMI.

I ran the 4K HDR sample files on it and they look pretty impressive!

I'm pretty convinced that the Satellite LNB connection as stated in the spec of one site is a red herring ! there is absolutely no mention anywhere of any inbuilt Satellite Reciever !!!! I'm convinced it's just another form of connection other than Coax to the DVB-T, still no great loss, I have a Satellite Reciever hooked up anyway ........

Note: It would be nice if you could all post links of your finds, IE: It can do this or this is coming soon and any form of updates/software etc ......

I have confirmed so far that Netflix 4K, YouTube 4K, Amazon Prime Video and Plex (Remote server) all works well.

Still some challenges getting my Logitech Harmony remote working but I'll persevere.
