    Default TreeBeard!

I've just got back into model making after a 35yr break.I was given some Game Workshop white metal figures so I thought I'd try my hand at painting them, don't think he turned out to bad!
First coat of primer, second was a 'wood base coat',third was 'wood grain' coat, fourth was a wash made up from burnt umber oil paint thinned with thinners.Bottom of legs were done with sap green thinned to simulate slime/algae and high lighted with a lighter green.Beard was painted with a dark brown and highlighted with the wood base to add depth.
