Netflix, Android Instant Video and Now TV

My generic country village has just moved into the 20th century and we now have unlimited decent speed internet available to us.

Looking to broadening our TV viewing flexibility, what box would people recommend that can deal with all of the above services. Looking for WAF so Apple TV / Chromecast are unlikely to work as the wife is on Android and myself IPhone so the need for a phone for control doesn't work for us.

Are we loooking at a Roku or is there a decent Android box that does the trick or another alternative?

Scrap all those services gets decent hosted Plex server and side load rarflix onto a nowtv2 box [emoji1360] avail for £10 each when buy two at currys [emoji38]

I basically have all stuff of Netflix, prime, Sky boxsets and current tv and can request the odd thing that might be missing

Sub I use is great and quite a few members on here now use it I'll find the thread later and post link , or once back upto vip (just sorting ) I'll pm the link

Check out shield box seems be some great reviews on those and also new Roku box far less buggy than lower end android boxes IMO just from playing round with a few when setting up

Fire tv is brilliant. Far superior to the stick and can provide legit or non legit services at 4K.

Netflix and Now TV both brilliant. Depends on what you want to watch though. So google what shows they have and subscribe to the one that suits you best.

e.g. Now TV has Game of Thrones but Netflix does not
Netflix has something that NOW does not and so on.
