    Default Xbox Projector Issues

This is a bit of a weird one. I have 2 projectors set up in a room so when friends come around for an xbox night they can plug theirs in. Mine is a 1080p Panasonic projector and the spare a cannon 720p (SXGA+ really but can handle a 720p signal)

My one goes through an amp, then out to the 1080p projector. The other one is direct into the projector.

A friend of mine came over with his xbox and it just would not work on the 720p projector. His works flawlessly on the 1080p projector and mine works (after setting to 720p) on the cannon. Another friend comes over and plugs into the 720p projector no problem. It's just this one Xbox that doesn't like it.

Tried all sorts of combinations of the display settings (720p 50hz, 60hz, 24bit per pixel etc) and tried a different HDMI to DVI lead but still kept getting no signal on the projector. Anything else I'm missing?

Hmm that might be it. Mine is on the preview dash. Not sure what the one that works is on but pretty sure the non working one isn't preview dash.

Shouldn't make any difference on the dash but...
I do remember a problem with an old projector that I had on the 360 that didn't like 60hz (Even though it was HDMI) so I had to use SCART, change to 50hz then change back to HDMI. Maybe it's a similar scenario with the XBox One. At least on the XBox 360 there was a method of a kind of "video safe mode" so that you could reset it - don't know if this exists on the XB1.
