Anyone on here who didn't play WoW and watched this movie? Was it any good or do you need to be a wow freak to enjoy it?

From what I have heard it isnt based off the WoW universe. Its based on the first 3 old Warcraft games back in the day. Spent many hours playing them as a kid and thoroughly enjoyed the lore and gameplay - then they evolved into this WoW shite.
If the new film is based off the old games, then it should be good.

From what I've heard it's a long film with not much in the way of story but the CG for the orcs is spot on. I loved WoW - played it to death back in the day and I'm interested in seeing this film but not going out of my way - might wait for the BRRIP

As you CMG I loved the original Warcraft strategy games and the stories that went with them ... hated WOW.
Might give it a blast.
Wow player well was until recently and I'm struggling with it tbh I'll have another bash tomorrow see if I can get over half hour in
Me and the wife tried it last night got 15 minutes in and that was us.
Didn't think it was going to work but the cgi is good must admit

I think people who don't really know about WoW will enjoy it more for the spectacle. I never played the games so will go in without any presumptions.
