    What compressors?

The temperature is controlled by flow. Less flow the hotter the water - Up to a point because if the flow gets too low and the water gets too hot the thermal switch will cut out. Should however cut back in quite quickly as the temperature drops again.

With high wattage (10.5kw) showers it only needs a slightly reduced flow to cause it to cut in and out. You may not even notice the slight drop. This could be caused by the washing machine drawing water or someone operating the tap downstairs, or possibly a greenhouse automatic watering system operating at the same time. If you are on a shared main (more than one house connected to a single roadside stopcock) then it could also be a neighbour drawing water reducing your flow.

Have you changed the pipe and shower head because fitting a generic one can make a difference to the flow. Cleaning the shower head is sometimes all it needs to correct this type of problem. (">
