the only reason I got my Kinect pluged in but camera faced down, is to launch digital games, but if your able to do that with Cortana then that will be grovey as I'm thinking of getting the new slim, they removed the external PSU, but if you want your Kinect on the slim you need an adapter which has a freaking PSU ahhhhhhhhh

    Thanks to pickie

I control my whole TV/SKY system using voice commands with Kinect. It can do pretty much everything my SKY/TV remotes do. Change channel,Volume etc. And it's pretty flawless. I don't use it for Games though.

This Video is old and the Voice system is much improved from then.

You can even set your SKY channels to select HD only.

Suppose it's only fair as I manged to sneak the Elite controller past her :-)
The Kinect Fit works really well but as with it you got to keep with it and not let it be a fad (like me) Elite Controller good boy, yeah Kinect for that is a fair compromise ;-)

    Thanks to akimba

Not too bothered about 4k as don't have a 4k tv
As for the PSU, can't see it behind my TV Unit anyway
When are they going to release anything new and original on the One? I'm still playing BF4. Looking forward to BF1 in October
They have confirmed that the S will upscale games to 4k

Since the initial reveal on Monday, plenty more news has emerged to suggest the 'S' console will be a considerable upgrade on the original. As well as a 40 per cent slimmer body, the 4K Blu-ray player and 2TB hard drive, we’ve since learned the console will contain “additional processing power.”
That extra CPU and GPU oomph will be used exclusively to power games offering HDR graphics.
