For the last couple of years the time I spend in these forums has been varied. At times there isn't much going on and I may be busy with other things so I may not visit for weeks at a time. At the moment I'm really enjoying my time here. In large part due to the debate over the EU referendum. Its a subject that both sides of the debate are very passionate about so people want to put their views across. Still wish more members would get involved with their personal point of view though.
The debate sometimes gets a bit heated and includes some name calling, but to me that is just down to the passion we feel about the issue under discussion. None of the regular long standing members here are cunts because they log in here on a regular basis with the view of helping their fellow members in any way they can. On the other hand every one of us can be a cunt at times. We even fall out with our partners from time to time, but a day or two later we are usually back to the harmony of a loving relationship and are happy to have our cock up our wife/girlfriend's arse (or in piggzy's case have his partner's cock up his arse).
In a way we are married to each other through this forum and if during a passionate exchange of opposing views someone calls me a cunt or vice versa, then I personally don't take it to heart and on another occasion will bend over backwards to help that person if I can. (won't bend over forwards though just in case piggzy's around). What I'm trying to say is that I have respect for all contributors to this forum regardless of how different your views are to mine and how heated the debate gets when passions are running high.
As well as help and advice posts this forum needs controversial topics. It pulls people in because they want to express their views. If it gets a bit heated at times then that can be good up to a point, as long as it doesn't go on for too long and takes away from the topic under discussion. We are lucky here that we have Admin and Mods that are both tolerant and ready to step in when required. Its a big part of the reason that this forum is surviving when there are so many social media options available now. And in case you are wondering - NO I haven't had a drink and am totally sober. (">
