Hi everyone

Im from nz (new zealand) I raced bikes & cars most of my life (45 years old). can offer mechanical advice on anything from a washing machine or lawn mower to a race car or bike. Unfortunately im not the best on electronic items & am having issues with a 2010 mk4 mondeo diesel odometer correction after a swapped motor.

Anyway ill be here if anyone needs a helping hand... as in the way i do also...thanks all

Read the Df rules and welcome registration and after a while when people get to know you, then you might get the help you need



I suggest posting/replaying to threads and let people get to know you, but not reviving old posts

Sorry..im new to this sort of thing.

So exactly how do i get to know people then? do i just talk about life in general...ie..planted a tree today, drove the car to work..anyone interested? or wait for someone to say something to me? is this the right area to even do that, im lost.
I would also like to get this car sorted before 2017 as its an offence here to drive it the way it is & i dont mind people asking me any tech info on anything straight away.

Can you elaborate on how this works as far as "getting to know people" as that description is not in the rules.

I guess your not really going to get any help with that attitude.
If I have to show you how to make friends on here then I think you might has well leave now

In life you meet people, you start communication with said people.
then after some time you become friends or acquaintances, Friends help other friends

Leeches don't have friends. Asking for help from your first post makes you come across as a leech.

If you cant grasp the Fundamentals then your a lost cause.

Try reading the welcome registration and DF rules, help is also in there
